Colts ‘B’ Football v St. Christopher’s

9th November 2016

The Colts B’s were a little unfortunate to lose by this score line today. We actually dominated the first half and passed the ball around nicely, creating several good chances, but the St Christopher’s keeper played extremely well to keep us out, and we conceded a goal late in the half due to a mistake which saw the ball squirming over the line after a weak shot on target.

In the second half St Christopher’s played the better football and deserved their win, they continued to pass the ball nicely and we failed to maintain the standards we had set in the first half. James looked very solid for us in defence, and Dhruv made some good runs in midfield but too often we took a little too long to pass the ball. In the end we scored after Antony made a nice pass to Ben who fired the ball towards the far post where Essam was able to turn the ball in. Well done, especially for your play in the first half boys.
