Colts ‘C’ Football v St Christopher’s

12th November 2016

The winning streak continues for the boys as they made it 6 wins out of 6 and still without conceding a goal. They were however made to work hard for this victory against a battling St Christopher’s. Truth be told St Christopher’s had the better of the first half with more possession that led to them having the better of the chances. We were indebted to Matthew who made a number of good saves to keep the scores level. The boys produced one real moment of quality in the first half when Archie and Jake combined to set up Luke to slot the ball home. The word at half time was that we were leading but not playing well so we had the game in our hands.

Kicking down the hill gave the team the opportunity they needed to express themselves and the second half was in stark contrast to the first half as we took control of the game scoring 2 further goals through Archie and Luke. Once again Ali and Ronnie stood firm at the back and Ewan gave us plenty of energy in midfield. One more game to go boys can we clear the final hurdle?
