Colts C Football v Ardingly
Unfortunately today the Colts C’s went down in a 6-2 loss to Ardingly School. Although we went down today I feel as though some of the traits that we have been practicing at training were carried across to todays game. Our front 3 attackers Josh, Joseph and Charlie worked very well together as a team crossing the ball all around the defenders resulting in our two goals. Even though Ardingly were able to score 6 goals against us I feel as though it would have been a lot more if it wasn’t for our goalie Kieron. With a bit of training and practice at home over the half term the boys will come back stronger and be able to tackle the other oppositions.
Colts D Football v Ardingly
Today the Colts D’s ran out to a great start with Shaun Vieira smashing two great goals into the back of the net. Then boys were looking very good as a team and I thought we had this one in the bag. After the first half was over the boys might have thought that they had already won because it started to go down hill from there. Our structure started to fall apart as the Ardingly’s team started to form theirs. Unfortunately we conceded two lucky goals which only got our hopes down and in the last 10 minutes we conceded another two resulting in a 2-4 loss. I feel as though with a bit more practice as a team we would be able to work better in defence as we do in attack. BB
