Colts F vs Pennthorpe E team

21st September 2017

Colts F took eagerly took to the pitch on what was a glorious afternoon for some football to take on the Colts E team from Pennthorpe. It was a fiercely contended game, with all the boys giving all they had. Matthew was vital in midfield and played really well, distributing the ball out to attackers such as Joshua, Andrew and Dylan who burst forward in their best attempts at goal. Dylan created many chances and went on to be man of the match for a superb performance. His attitude was outstanding and he never gave up in all areas of the pitch. The boys were very much dominant in their encounter and Daniel and Nathan were rock solid in defence. As the game went on after a goalless first half, Harry got us on the front foot a lot in the second half’s early stages. After superb blocks from our shot stopper, Arthur, we unfortunately conceded what was the only goal of the game. No one was too disappointed though, as their performance as a whole was immense. I truly am so proud of their conduct, effort and heart that they all showed.

Well done boys!

Final score: Copthorne 0-1 Pennthorpe
