U10 ‘A’ Netball v BHHS

3rd December 2016

Copthorne started the match with the first centre pass. Despite some good passes BHHS soon gained possession of the ball . They were a very strong team and it was evident that this was going to be a challenging match. Although Copthorne did have several shots on goal our nerves got the better of us and by half-time the score was 4-1 to the opposition.

After a quick pep talk the girls returned to the court with renewed vigour. Our spacing and movement were better. There were some great interceptions from our defenders Eva, Amreet and Ava. Whilst our attackers Charlotte, Keira, Gabi and Annabelle worked tirelessly to move the ball into the D. By the end of the third quarter we had scored another 4 goals giving us the lead. The girls were in their element now and the final quarter was fabulous. Our passing and defending meant we kept possession of the ball and both Keira and Annabelle scored some great goals.

Well done girls! A fabulous match.
Player of the match as voted by BHHS – Gabi
Mrs D’s Players of the match – Amreet and Keira
