U10 A Netball v Great Walstead – March 2017

7th March 2017

This was a great match not only due to the end score but because the girls put into play what we have been focusing on this week. Although our passing was still too quick and sporadic during the first quarter, our movement into space was greatly improved. This allowed for the ball to reach our D quickly and effectively. Our shooters Keira and Ellie worked well in the D together and scored some magnificent goals. Zara and Charlotte worked tirelessly in their attack whilst Eva, Amreet and Amelie made some fabulous interceptions and are proving to be a dynamic defence.

The opposition were strong however, Copthorne played well as a team and were determined to win. Year 5 are a capable year group and each girl works hard to gain a place on a team whether it be the As or Bs. Their level of commitment and hard work is admirable and they should all pat themselves on the back for their efforts. Well done to all of you!

Player of the match as voted by opposition – Amreet
