The Copthorne U10 B’s began the first half of the game against Brambletye very strongly, scoring early tries to put them ahead 15-0 within the first 10 minutes. The referee worked hard to balance the play and to make the afternoon a worthwhile exercise for all the boys and the Copthorne team played with great sportsmanship throughout. Tries continued to come through great attacking play and the defence remained strong, allowing the opposition to cross the try line just once during the game. The final score following such a spirited performance from the team was 35-5. Well done boys.
