U10 Rugby v Ashdown House

7th March 2016

Won 9-5

On a wet, windy and cold afternoon the U10’s welcomed Ashdown House in what turned out to be a very interesting game. Despite the cold conditions the handling from both teams was of a very good standard with hardly any errors made. It has been pleasing to see the progression that the boys have made throughout the season and they are now turning into a nice little outfit. We scored first half tries from Liban, Antony x 2, Cosmic, Ali but conceded 3 ourselves to go into half time 5-3 up. As the wind picked up and the clouds gathered both teams tried to play running rugby which is of great credit to them.

Tries continued to go in a both ends as we scored through Dhruv, Sonny, Louis and to top things off a lovely try by Jake. The game finished in a 9-5 victory to us but both teams can take great credit in the way they played in difficult conditions. We had a total of 8 different try scorers which shows a real team effort.
