The first game of the season is always an exciting affair and this proved to be no different as the Under 10’s comfortably beat St Christopher’s. The performance that our boys put in was very encouraging for the first game of the season. Despite being a physically smaller side than our opponents our tackling was superb throughout the match drawing gasps of amazements from the crowd. We were stronger over the ball than they were and the pace we have in attack is frightening. All the boys can be very pleased with their efforts and I am not going to single anyone out as having an outstanding game as they all did. As the season progress we want to build a strong group of players that work, trust and support each other Win, Lose or Draw. We are sowing the seeds for a very good group of boys to progress over the next few years, I hope they enjoy the journey.

Next week is will be a tougher challenge against Windlesham who incidentally beat St Christopher’s comfortably last week.

Thank you to all the parents who came to support I am sure you will agree the boys were a credit to the school with their commitment and attitude.
