U10 VI Indoor Hockey v Handcross Park – Lost 1-6

Copthorne played much better in the first half compared to the second half. They worked hard making tackle after tackle and getting the ball goal wards but could not find that final pass to a player upfront in the circle. Katie made some excellent tackles in defence, stepping in front of the opposition to get the ball. Roselly and Frosty kept chasing the ball from side to side and this constant effort paid off with Roselly scoring from a tight angle. Handcross were solid in defence, clearing the ball just as quickly as receiving it. The few times we did managed to cross into the circle our shots were off target.  HP.
