U10A v Brambletye

12th March 2018

After the snow of last week and the heavy rain over night the pitches were in fantastic condition enabling both teams to play open and attacking rugby. Today’s match proved to be a very competitive affair. Brambletye only turned up with 7 players so we had to deploy a rolling sub policy and I am grateful for the boys and their understanding. The first half was a very close affair with Brambletye scoring a try in the last 10 secs of the half to take a 3-2 lead into the break. The second half didn’t follow in the same way unfortunately as we lost our discipline at little at the breakdown and conceded 3 tries to ultimately lose the match. Our first half performance was very good but must remember to keep our focus and teamwork when things start to against us.

Result: Lost 6-2 (Tries Henry 2)

Team: Henry H, Pranav L, Oscar C, William S, Joshua R, Oliver F, Felix T, Rafe C, Toby F
