U10B Netball v Notre Dame – Won 18-2

This week the under 10B girls played against Notre Dame at home in the sports hall. The girls put all of what they had learnt this season into this match and showed just how much they have improved. They worked together as a team, passing the ball well and getting in front to receive the ball. With some great shooting by Hermione the girls were up 5-1 at quarter time.  Going into the second quarter saw a change in the shooting end with Clara and Maddie going in to shoot together and increasing the lead to 9-1. This quarter saw everyone work well. Emilie Lagrange worked hard to bring the ball up the court and Natasha, Madison and Emily Workman played brilliantly in defence with some lovely interceptions. In the third quarter positions changed again with Emily W and Natasha going into shoot and they did extremely well scoring six goals between them in this quarter. At the start of the fourth quarter the girls were up 15-2. In the last quarter most of the girls played well and tried their hardest even though they were thrown out of position. This quarter saw another change in the attacking end with Madison and Emilie Lagrange shooting with another three goals between them. The final score was 18-2. Best player given by Notre Dame was Clara. The girls should be immensely proud of themselves for the improvement they have made this season. They have continued to develop in their netball and I hope it continues in the coming seasons. Well done girls KD.
