U11 IAPS Tournament at Roedean

Armed with thermos’, sleeping bags and the most amount of chocolate and lollies I have ever seen in my life, the U11s set out to Roedean for the IAPS U11s tournament. Thankfully, the weather was much warmer than previous years, meaning we did not freeze as was expected! It took the girls a few games to warm into the games, however around halfway through the girls’ intensity picked up. After a few toughly contested matches, which we won, the girls’ passes began to go astray. Many of the girls learnt something at the tournament, whether it be how to hold as a shooter or that finding space on court really is important. The tournament day was a lot of fun, and very tiring, seen in the way many girls fell asleep on the journey back to school! Well done girls, you had a great tournament!  EA
