U11 Netball v Ashdown House

27th November 2015

Lost 2-12

The U11s found themselves playing netball this week, instead of hockey which was a big change! Despite this the U11s got stuck in, and although they only had two training sessions before this match today, at times they played some good netball and showed some great potential for the upcoming netball season!

Lila captained the side and did a fantastic job both on and off the court, spurring the team on, yet despite her best efforts, as well as those of the rest of the team, the lack of practice showed today and Ashdown proved to be the stronger side, having played netball since half term!

It was a closely fought match though, with some super defending from Sophia, Lila and Isabella and Abigail was my star player of the match as centre, as she was flying all over the court gaining some valuable interceptions!

Well done girls a great effort under the circumstances and I’m sure with more practice and focus you will continue to improve! Player of the match today was

Abigail picked by both Ashdown and myself! TC

Lila, Sophia, Isabella, Abigail, Emily, Emma, Isabel, Grace, Jemima.
