U11A Netball v Duke of Kent

12th March 2018

Today the U11s played their last match of the season (apart from the upcoming tournament on Monday) and definitely finished on a high!

Despite their disappointment after narrowly missing out at the IAPS on Monday the girls picked themselves up and were very slick on the court

today, so much so that after the first quarter they were 8-0 up! It was then decided that for the remainder of the match versatility would be played, with every player having the opportunity to shoot, with all of the U11s contributing to the scoreline and scoring at least one goal each!

Even playing versatility didn’t stop the U11s who definitely came back fighting so challenges were incorporated into the match today especially in the circle when shooting and the play was reduced. The final score was 17-0 to Copthorne. What a fantastic way to finish the season girls! POM today was Gabi picked by Duke of Kent and my POM would have also been Gabi shared with Keira!

Well done to all of the girls, once again I’m a proud coach! Fingers crossed for the U11 Pelican Cup

Tournament at Brighton College on Monday!
