Yesterday we played against Brighton and Hove and secured our 100% winning streak.
This week in training we worked on set plays and the girls were able to put it into practice in the match! We started off strong and gained a 4 goal lead in the first quarter with the defence doing a great job at not letting the opposition get any goals. In the second quarter the centre court players worked really well together bringing the ball down the court and feeding into the shooters giving us a lead of 7-0. In the third quarter the opposition gained a lot of possession and scored 3 goals! The girls put all their effort into the final quarter and played outstandingly. The shooters played particularly well together passing the ball around to get into the best position to be able to score, the final result was 15-3. Sienna got a well-deserved player of the match, for her superb movement and accurate shooting.
I am so impressed with the whole teams effort and determination during training and also in matches this season, well done!
