U8A Netball v BHHS

20th November 2015

Won 9-0

After the success at the GW Netball Festival last week the U8s were keen to keep their winning streak going.

In very windy conditions the girls set up against BHHS. We lost the toss, but this didn’t seem to matter as we turned the advantage over; with the first pass of the game being intercepted by Daisy.

The girls showed how versatile they can be with every quarter, positions were changed. The Copthorne girls dominated the match throughout and BHHS only had a couple of shots on goal.

Biba scored a hat-trick of goals in the first half and Daisy scored her hat-trick in the final quarter. Harley also scored a great goal from distance, with Ella and Layla also getting on the score sheet. Ella made some great interceptions and Layla made a backline pass which had been practiced in lessons!

Danni, Ffion and Victoria found great space at times and fought hard for the ball. All the girls should be proud of their performance today, and it is nice to see the improvement each week.

Well done girls and congratulations to Daisy who was voted player of the match by the BHHS team.

Huge thanks once again to our supporters. MJ
