This week our netball squad played two matches away, our second match was at Brighton and Hove school on Wednesday. The girls were enthusiastic and ready to continue their hard work from the day before. Our defending was tight and the girls made good use of the width of the court, running into spaces to create attacking opportunities.

Throughout the game Copthorne were working really well as a team, and making good passing decisions enabling us to get the ball down the court quickly, giving us lots of scoring opportunities. Despite the contested movement on the court Brighton were unable to score, so we were very pleased with another huge win of 9-0 to Copthorne, making us undefeated this term!

Well done to all the players and an extra congratulations to Amelie voted as player of the match for her fantastic shooting. The whole Copthorne Netball squad should be very proud of how well they played in both games this week! Thank you to those parents that supported us on Tuesday and Wednesday, it was lovely to see so many supporters out in the cold.
