U8B Netball v Hurst

28th September 2017

The U8B’s showed outstanding improvements as their knowledge and confidence of the game and positions continues to grow. For their second netball match I was so impressed with the way that the girls have jelled together as a team. The mid court worked really hard to get in front of their players and drive forwards for the ball which we have been focusing on in our training sessions. The shooters have vastly improved on running backwards toward the goal whilst watching the ball and play at the same time. The defence worked very well together and remained focused throughout the game only letting 1 goal to Hurst in! With a large squad of 10 it was great to be able to rotate positions around and see different combinations of players working well together. Well done to the whole team for an excellent game winning 7-1, especially well done to Amelie for getting player of the match!
