U8B Netball v HXP

13th November 2015

Won 3-0

‘It was awesome!’, ‘It was an incredible achievement!’, ‘We played well and had fun!’

These are some of the comments made by the U8B Netball Team after their 3-0 win at Handcross Park School today.

The squad of nine players all worked enthusiastically and had the majority of the play. In fact the opposition only managed to get the ball into a shooting position once during the whole game.

Copthorne’s handling was good allowing the ball to get up the court for the shooters to score. They now need to work on their positioning as they are still crowding around the ball like ‘bees around the honey pot’. This then reduces the options when passing to a team member.

The team of Tayla, Lowenna, Scarlet, Victoria, Amelie, Lulu, Danni, Mona and Millie should be proud of their achievement today and will hopefully move around the court more freely in their next match. Well done!
