U8B v Caterham

11th October 2017

What a great day with not just Caterham but also Hazelwood and Aberdour to play against. Good pitch and conditions and a good set of boys. We were not involved in the first game and the standard looked high. Our first match against Caterham was a tight affair with the only goal resulting from a massive keeper clearance producing a one on one against the keeper . Aberdour were also tough and despite playing some excellent football we went down 1 – 0. It was at this point that the senior U8’s came over having noticed that we were playing the A’s and they were playing the B’s. I have to say that our B’s did not look out of place against the A teams we had played. A pitch move followed and we managed a very even draw against Hazelwood. A great day and some excellent football played. Well done boys. JC
