U9 ‘A’ & ‘B’ VI’s v St. Christopher’s

12th November 2016

Another set of matches another group of excited boys. The A’s started slowly and never really recovered against a skilful side. Whether it was the journey or the cold weather the boys went three goals behind very quickly before they started to work together and play. The final score was a heavy defeat although Elliott did get a consolation goal for us.

The B’s however were a different story after watching the A’s and identifying areas that hadn’t gone well, the boys produced a fine 1-0 victory with Luis scoring. The boys worked hard for each other and communicated very well and although St Christopher’s had chances the boys could easily have scored three or four more.

With the C’s also winning it shows that the boys are learning and have a decent standard, indeed there isn’t much to choose between the majority of players. They are trying to play the right way and they have a great enthusiasm for games in general. Thanks again for the support of parents.

Players:  Josh, Dan, Lewis, James, Elliott, Marcos, Rafe, Dylan, Matteo, Felix, Oliver and Luis.
