U9 ‘A’ Netball v Pennthorpe

28th September 2016

This week the U9 ‘A’ Netball team had two matches. Their first was in their games lesson against Pennthorpe and Ffion was our captain. Despite not having the first centre pass the girls got off to a flying start making great interceptions and winning back the ball to score the first goal. The girls were dominating the game and Pennthorpe could not compete with Copthorne‚Äôs pace and accuracy. The score after the first quarter was 6-0 to Copthonre. Copthorne girls continued to work hard for the ball throughout the remainder of the match which had to be cut short. The girls impressed with the strength of their passing their movement around court and their awareness of one and other. The final score was 16-0 after only 18 minutes of play. Goals were scored by Biba, Ella, Clara and Ffion!

Well done to all the girls who played. Biba was voted player of the match by Pennthorpe!
