U9 ‘B’ Football v Pennthorpe

5th October 2016

What a busy sporting week. I have refereed the U9 C’s, 1st 6’s, 2nd’s and today the U9 B’s. I do hope that the boys have had as much enjoyment as I have. Today the U9’s worked hard and tried to play football by looking and passing which I have to say they did rather well. Lots of chances created against a solid opposition and, I think, in the end a draw was probably the fairest result. Rafe was excellent in goal making some good stops. Daniel and the newly promoted Felix were very solid at the back. Dylan together with Arun and Louis were strong in midfield and Adwhitia was energetic up front. The final result was 1 – 1 but once again this week football and enjoyment were the winners.
