U9A Cricket v Brambletye

8th May 2016

We lost the toss and were put in to bat. We made 75 runs, losing 8 wickets in the process.

Our best batsmen were:

James who scored 13 runs from only 9 balls.

Sam R who scored 8 runs from 12 balls.

We batted quite carelessly, and gave away 40 runs by losing 8 wickets. Brambletye did make it difficult by bowling and fielding very well. Brambletye made 105 runs in reply, losing only 4 wickets.

Our best bowlers were:

Archie who took 1 wicket for 8 runs (bowled)

Luke who conceded only 6 runs from his 2 overs.

Randeep also got a wicket (bowled), as did Sam P thanks to a good catch from William.

In the end Brambletye won by 30 runs, thanks due to defending their wicket a little better and bowling a little more accurately.
