U9A Cricket v Windlesham 

29th April 2016

We lost the toss and were put in to bat. We made 232 runs, losing 3 wickets in the process. (In pairs cricket you start on 100 and lose 5 runs per wicket).

Top scorers:

Wesley made 14 runs off 10 balls

Nicholas made 10 runs off balls

William made 9 runs off 14 balls

James made 9 runs from 17 balls.

In reply, Windlesham made, 186 runs, for the loss of 4 wickets. Each bowler bowled 2 overs.

Our best bowlers were:

Sam R who took 1 wicket (caught and bowled) for only 3 runs.

Nicholas who took 1 wicket (bowled) for 6 runs, and also ran out one of the opposition with a good throw. Sam P who took 1 wicket (bowled) for 10 runs Essam who only conceded 7 runs.

We won in the end by 48 runs, though the game looked pretty close half-way through the Windlesham innings. Well played boys, a good start to the season! DJ
