U9A Netball v Cumnor House

6th February 2017

This week the U9A squad took on Cumnor House. Today’s Captain was Clara who got us off to a great start by winning the first centre pass. From the first centre pass Harley, Lowenna and Tayla quickly passed the ball to Ella who scored our first goal. A great start! The girls in attack continued to link the ball into the shooting circle nicely resulting in further goals from Ella and Tayla, meanwhile Daisy, Layla and Clara were solid in defence not allowing the ball to enter the circle down their end. The score at half time was 5-0 to Copthorne.

During the second half the girls continued to move the ball well and they once again showed their versatility with new positions and new players to work with. This was fantastic to see and a great demonstration of the level of netball from a depth of players. The final score was 9-0 to Copthorne.

Well done to all girls and thank you once gain to all the supporters. Another great win!
