U9A & UBs v St Christopher’s

10th November 2017

Well I think it’s safe to say winter is here. On a cold day with a really heavy pitch, the boys turned up to play St Christopher’s who are traditionally a strong football side.

The As played first – we played 7 a side and created a lot of chances but went 2-0 down but as ever the boys rallied and were always in the game but eventually lost 4-2. The opposition seemed to have a endless supply of substitutes for both teams and this took its toll on the boys.

The Bs struggled on the heavy pitch and regrettably lost 4-1 but as ever they work hard and have improved a lot since September when the boys set themselves small targets of making tackles and passes – these have increased with every game.

The support and encouragement between the boys is excellent.
