The u9 B’s had a very enjoyable and exciting game against Hazelwood on Tuesday. Being the home side helped Copthorne settle first, allowing them the chance to attack and to set the tempo giving the shooters, Jasmine and Sophie the early chances to take the lead. This they did very well with each of them scoring a goal in the first quarter. From the second quarter onwards both teams were very evenly matched, with the ball trading ends on numerous occasions. As the game progressed he defence in each team got tighter and tighter, making scoring very difficult. The girls demonstrated some good movement into space with well-timed passes and interceptions. It was very pleasing to watch them play and work together as a team, well done!
