U9B Netball v HXP

13th November 2015

Won 7-2

This week the girls played a home match against Handcross Park School. The girls played a strong game from the get go. With our girls winning the toss Lacey chose to have the first centre pass. Our girls were off to a great start scoring the first three goals of the game. In the first half our girls were great at spreading out and bringing the ball down but on a few occasions their footwork let them down. At half time we worked a bit on control with the ball and our footwork slowly started to improve throughout the second half. In the third quarter there were a few changes of position with some girls playing positions that they don’t normally play but still managed to adapt very well.

Towards the end of the match you could tell that some of our girls started to get a bit tired and so everyone started clustering together. As our game dropped off a little bit the other team managed to score two goals in the last 3 minutes of the game. Never-the-less all eleven girls played a great game.

Our player of the match Charlotte played an excellent match playing in centre for the entire game.

The girls had a convincing win with a score of 7-2.
