U9C Netball v HXP

13th November 2017

This was a great little match as all the girls worked hard throughout the game. Although Handcross had the first centre pass it was Copthorne who scored first with Zara scoring a lovely goal. Handcross soon equalised despite some great defending from Jessica, Emily and Natalie. Our passing improved throughout the match and our attackers Samantha, Zara, Sophie and Natasha worked well together. Our captain Jessica worked hard to feed the ball into our shooting third. There were some great attempts at goal by both our shooters Sophie and Zara. By the end of the third quarter The score was 2-2.

In the final quarter both teams made some great interceptions and despite being equally matched Handcross’ passing was just a little more accurate and they managed to score seconds before the final whistle.

So well done girls you worked very well as a team and I really enjoyed the match.

Player of the match as voted by Handcross – Samantha

Mrs Dodson’s player of the match – Jessica
