Harvest Time!

17th June 2019

We have had a very exciting time this week as it was time to harvest our potatoes! Both classes were rather flabbergasted at the number of potatoes we found under the ground in the soil. Mrs Frith’s class found rather more that Mrs Lock’s, almost double in fact and Mrs Frith won the heaviest crop too: 705g as opposed to 610g! However Mrs Lock’s class are convinced that their potatoes were tastier and Ava liked them too!

In Maths we have been looking at odd and even numbers and finding patterns when we count in 2’s, 5’s and 10’s. We have read the story about the Rainbow Fish and discussed how to be kind to others. We have written the story and look forward to decorating some fish soon.
