We have had a very exciting week harvesting our potatoes! Unfortunately our crops were rather light this year … Mrs Frith’s children grew 680g Jester potatoes and Mrs Lock’s children grew 580g … about half the normal crop! We rummaged about in the soil to find them … many were hidden from view, and then weighed them, washed them and then ate them … they were the freshest potatoes we have ever eaten, and MOST children loved the taste!
