Learning about the Sun

27th May 2016

We have been busy mixing shades of blue to make a sea picture that we will use as a background for a collage after half term. We had to think carefully how to make the paint darker and lighter to get a good effect. We have started to learn some facts about the sun and were amazed at the size of it and how far from us that it is! We will be learning about the dangers of the sun over the next few weeks and learning how to stay safe in the sun. In ICT we were controlling, or not in some cases, a car around a grid using a sequence of actions. We found that our cars could go through the houses but not through the trees!
