We have listened to and watched the story of ‘Oliver’s vegetables’ and written it in our own words using the pattern of the story. Oliver was eventually able to eat chips as long as he could find the potatoes in Grandad’s garden! We then went on to carefully observe and draw with pastels a selection of interesting vegetables, including a rather large squash, runner beans with very exciting pink seeds within it and a bumpy tomato!

In maths we have been looking at 2D shapes. We have found and sorted symmetrical and non-symmetrical ones, created pictures, and produced some lovely repeating shape patterns too.
