Rotten Apples

This week Mrs Bird’s class have read ‘Rotten Apples’. We answered comprehension questions in the sentences and retold the story using capital letters and full stops in the correct place;

Aadi: Mum gave Biff a job to pick up the apples and put them near the dustbin. Kipper was excited because he saw Harry Smith. He made people laugh and sold stuff. They had a ride and the horse slowed down and fell asleep, everyone bought some things.

Zara wrote: Out in the garden. Mum said ‘Biff pick the rotten apple.’ ‘Yuk’ said Biff. She picked the apples but the apples were rotten. Harry Smith came. His horse ate all the apples.
