Apart from triathlons and all our Royal preparations, we have been using scales to find out differences in weight between various items, noting that size is not always an indicator of weight. We have been practising putting our results into a bar graph and have tried to use graphing software on the computers too.
Mrs Lock‘s children made woodland crowns this week and attended a potato banquet where the children were encouraged to work together to solve problems. Mrs Frith‘s children investigated the best material for an umbrella for the queen so that her crown jewels do not get wet in the rain. We decided that the hard, rigid plastic was better than paper and glittery fabric material!
