Students with headteacher

Concocting our own mocktails has been the highlight of the week for many. Who wouldn’t want to try Rosie and Aran’s ‘Frang-tang’ , Harrison’s ‘Clone cocktail surprise’ or Mia’s ‘Rainbow Relax’?

The children have had various maths challenges set, leading them to make the mocktails but of course, drinking them was the most enjoyable step in the process. We also had to write up the instructions, focusing on using ‘bossy verbs’ and ‘time sentence openers.’

During art lessons, we sculpted our own clay tiles with a seaside theme. We practised using various clay tools to roll, smooth and scratch the clay. We look forward to painting and glazing the tiles once they are ready.
