Seaside Holidays

13th May 2016

This week we have continued our study of seaside holidays in the past. The children thought the bathing machine was a very sensible invention! Mrs Potgieter’s class has used some exciting and powerful adjectives to describe a beach scene in the past. Some children even included alliteration effectively. Mrs Passmore’s class wrote ‘insect eye’ description of various landscapes from the viewpoint of an insect.

We have all enjoyed practical measuring which has been a refreshing contrast to the mental calculations of the last few weeks!
