Year 2 News – Week 4

1st October 2016

year-2-making-fruit-portraits-like-arcimbaldo-2The Year 2 classes came together to count, using a tally, which fruit was the top choice of the year group. Bananas and apples were joint favourite and oranges and tomatoes were the least popular. The children then drew a pictogram to show the results.

This week we tackled the tricky concept of identifying a right angle. Please point out right angles if you see them in the home, for example window panes.

Still on healthy eating, fruit and vegetable theme, we have made some amusing and interesting faces in the style of Arcimboldo.

Welcome to Copthorne Prep School!
