CREATIVE WRITING CLUB

I had been in captive for seemingly days on end. There was no light, just darkness. I shook the dust off my hand. I heard a mouse scuttle across the floor-boards. All of a sudden, light ate away at the darkness and a figure stood there. “Open to page 50.” (Lila B)
