Mr Baker talks Mexican Food

12th February 2016

copthorne-prep-mexico copthorne-prep-mexico-1We have just had a fantastic talk and food tasting session from Mr Baker to link in with our topic of Mexico. Mr Baker was actually born in Mexico and being a chef we thought that there couldn’t be anyone better to tell the Year 3s about Mexican food and the history of where Mexican food comes from.

Amongst his array of food goodies we had corn, corn chips, popcorn, beans, tortilla, tacos, chillies, vanilla and of course chocolate! We have all learnt a great deal about where Mexican food comes from and about some of the products we use daily. We were even lucky enough to taste some!

A huge thank you to Mr Baker, especially for letting us try the different types of chocolate!
