Junior Concert – Tuesday 26 June

Despite the heat in the Rendall Room, the Years 3 and 4 did brilliantly to a packed audience. There were thirty-one items on the programme, from musicals to classical to pop! Well done to all the children who took part.

Through the year:

The Music Department have had such a busy year! All the children were involved in different concerts. The Senior Choir was the biggest it has ever been and sung in a Remembrance Concert and went to the O2 to sing in a Young Voices Choir with 8000 other children – a lasting memory for them! There were many practical exam entrants who did remarkably well with more children having individual music lessons this year. I am really pleased to say that there is a healthy waiting list for lessons at the moment and all of those on the list will be able to start in September. There is room if any child would like to start an instrument – guitar, voice, violin, viola, brass, flute, clarinet, saxophone, piano, drums, cello.
