This week Sienna, Maryam, Taran and Rohan took part in a Year 4 Maths Challenge at Christ’s Hospital. Unfortunately due to the weather they weren’t able to witness the famous lunch parade but they still had a great afternoon and took part in lots of paired mathematical activities, including problems involving tangrams and dominoes. Sienna and Rohan narrowly missed out on the third place spot coming fourth by two points, a fantastic achievement and the highest placing we have had in a Year 4 Maths Challenge to date, so vey well done to them! Taran and Maryam also did really well coming 13th. With over 38 schools taking part and 76 placings it was a successful afternoon for all, so well done to Sienna, Maryam, Taran and Rohan!
