What two pupils thought of Roman day in their own words:

I thought Roman day was the best day I have ever had at Copthorne! Who knew the Roman bread was so nice and like our brown bread. I also learnt that holding a shield was the most tiring thing ever. I also never knew that Romans had bulla’s instead of purses, bulla’s are the most easiest thing in the world to make, well ours were. If I was a Roman I would be a farmer and grow crops and take good care of some farm animals. By Ava

My favourite thing ever!

I liked the Roman mosaics best because we made lots of different patterns. I think they have very pretty colours. The mosaics must of been difficult to make and taken a long time to create. I loved making my mosaic photo frame because I could design my own mosaic pattern. It was fun! By Ella
