Last Thursday all of Year 5 ventured into London to attend a workshop at Pineapple studios. Despite the warm weather, these budding thespians acted and mimed their socks off under the guidance of a professional actor. This was followed by a packed supper at Covenant Garden where pupils were entertained by intrepid Street performers. At 7.00pm we took our seats at the Duchess Theatre to watch ‘ The Play That Goes Wrong’. Amid raucous laughter we were entertained by the excellent acting and delightful plot. It was also lovely to hear many compliments from the general public on how well behaved our children were.
Year 5’s are staging their own Murder mystery next week and I know they have been totally inspired by their day out. Thank you Mrs Lockie for accompanying us and also thank you to Mrs Billingham-West for all her administrative support as always.
