Math’s Day

We spent an hour in the sports hall doing lots of fun yet quite difficult activities. There were four tables with different activities. The first one was logic problems where you had to fill in the missing words to sentences. The next table was shape puzzles where there was lots of sets of shapes and you had to fit them all together to make one big shape. The next table was estimation and there were lots of different puzzles to figure out like how many two pence coins you could line up side to side in the sports hall. This was rather difficult. The last table was count downs where you had lots of numbers and you could times, divide, add, take away or do anything to them to make the numbers you were given. The final challenge was to find lots of numbers hidden around the school and the team who finished first won that challenge. Overall it was really fun.
