U10 Netball v Brambletye – Lost 1-15

Despite the dreadful weather we were fortunate to be able to play our match indoors. It was decided therefore we would only play two halves of 15 minutes. Brambletye had the first centre pass and their passing soon put our team to the test. Unfortunately we were not quick enough to defend and take control. As a result Copthorne were unable to get themselves in a position to score whilst the opposition unfortunately charged ahead. After a quick half time chat and a change in some positions Copthorne were keen to try to at least to close the gap in the score. There was some good attempts from Copthorne to intercept and Ella C, Rosie and Neve our defenders made some great interceptions in the D. Due to injury Kathryn became a goal shooter and shot our first but also only goal.

It wasn’t our best game as we did not play as well as we have in recent matches. However all the girls are getting the opportunity to play in different positions as the team slowly comes together.

A tough match ladies but there is always the next one! You can do it! LD
