The last LAMDA examination and lessons for this term were held this week. Congratulations to all the Year 5 & 6 students who sat their exam this week. They were all well prepared and confident but there were a lot of nervous faces around the examination room that morning! This isn’t a bad thing as the level of performance is often raised when there is some nervousness and adrenaline is flowing. The examiner was very complimentary about all the students and the school and I was delighted with their positive and determined attitude and the way they supported one another on the day. They have all worked extremely hard this term and many chose demanding material which, in my opinion, was of a very high standard.
The results take 6-8 weeks to be sent to me and I will let you know the results as soon as I hear. Year 4 LAMDA students were given their material this week to allow them to make their choices and start to learn their poem over the Christmas break.
LAMDA lessons will commence in the New Year on Tuesday 10th and Wednesday 11th January 2017 and all students have their timetables.
Finally, a huge thank you to all parents who have listened to their son/daughter’s poems, prose and acting pieces throughout this term. Your support is invaluable and greatly appreciated.
