Year 5 have been learning all about scales and measure during their maths lessons – so we decided to put their skills into practice and have a morning of baking! The groups were involved in reading the recipes, measuring the ingredients, cooking their ingredients and finally sampling them!! All of the pupils had a fantastic time and the staff were impressed with their cooking skills. The pupils made; Chocoalte Tiffins, Rice Krispie cakes, Cornflake Cakes, Chocolate snap bars, Gingerbread Men, Fairy cakes and a Chocolate Brownie cake- yum! Well done year 5 enjoy making the other recipes from your recipe book. Mrs Lee
